So I played X-Men Legends II. Beat it too.
Took me a day and a half. Of literally not stopping until I beat the freaking game.
Gotta say, it’s a fun game. You play as your favorite x-men (wolverine, cyclops, colossus, etc) and brotherhood of evil mutants (magneto, juggernaut) characters and those oh-so-beloved characters you’ve never heard of in your entire life (sunfire?).
It’s a simple game, so if you like games that you’re throwing your controller at the screen in frustration at, well this ain’t the game. But if you like messing around, spinning barrels around the room at the enemy (magneto) or teleporting around and randoming punching people in the face (nightcrawler) then you’ll like the game.
It’s also got a mini-RPG (role playing game for you non-nerds) element to it. Your characters level up and you can get items for them to wear – so yes, you budding fashionistas can outfit wolverine with your oh-so-chic belts and gloves!
All in all, a fun game I’d recommend to you non-hardcore gamers out there. It has a great two player action to it too so that’s another fun thing.
So yes, especially if you liked the first game, grab this one!
The only negative I can think of is that Juggernaut never says, “I’m the Juggernaut bitch!”
